Open Source

Our work is based on open industry standards.

We support common base libraries such as OPC-UA, Modbus, BACnet and Woopsa, which form the basis for development work in flow-based programming tools such as Node-RED and drastically simplify software development. This is especially helpful for contributors who have no programming experience.

Besides our contributions for Node-RED we also support you in building your own Open Source projects. We create the source code in private repositories (GitHub, Bitbucket or GitLab) and you can follow how your software grows from the first second on. A test-driven development is our first priority. Through code coverage (covering various test cases) and the use of quality-oriented software metrics, you can judge whether the software is designed according to your ideas.

Due to our many years of experience, we are able to support you in the selection of various tools. Containerization, continuous integration and continuous deployment are reflected in our role as developers and system users. We mainly rely on Linux/UNIX and help you with Open Source Management in the appropriate package management systems.

As a contributor to open standards, we are proud to be involved in the development of the UMATI, ISA95 and RAMI4.0 standards.
